Marco79
Ive gained a no 42 fault code which according to the fault finder is the no1 speed sensor signal circuit. Now ive just had the dials (sppedo e.t.c) out on the day this fault started to show up could i have knocked or disturbed something behind the dials? Im not sure what route to take now i have the fault code can anyone help?

Steve
Well if the fault started since you had the dials out, i would be checking there first. Then if the fault still hasnt cleared come back.
Marco79
i just didnt know what or where i should be looking is it to do with the wiring into the dials or elsewhere. i know i probably sound a right plum for asking this but hey what the hell lol
J_Supra_07
i just fix mine, i had the same code. yeh check to make sure you havent damaged anything when you had the dash out. if not the most comen on is dry solder joins in the odo metter. you can bypass the odo metter by cutting the pink wire and conecting it to the blue/red wire (the clip that plugs in to the back of the odo)
