Fargo
thought i would have a go at sorting out the flashing O/D and TRC lights today that have come on since i put the aristo polished TB on. To check i reconnected the TRC and sensor to my original TB and started the engine, warning lights all gone, great i thought. So investigated thsi area on the new TB and found that the butterfly was not closing, as it did on the original one, aha this is my problem i thought. So looking at the aristo motor it seems to be turning the wrong way, so i remove my original one from the TB and plug this in. same thing happens. So i try adding my original TRC sensor but no differnece. i tried the arsito motor and sensor on my orginal TB and all works ok. Bothe sensors and motors work perfectly on the original TB when plugged in, but both do not work on the aristo TB I just cant figure out why the motor turns the wrong way. help

hodge
I have a trac error also as my O/d light keeps flashing. Ive done a code check and found a transmission code of 89 which is the traction control. This started as yours did when I fitted a new (polished) throttle body to my TT. Ive no idea what has caused this as it was fine before the throttle body was polished. Its the same throttle body and same sensors. Can you point me in the right direction where to start. Cheers dude.
Fargo
Im leaning towards loose wiring/connecter, With the original TB sitting on top of the fitted aristo TB the connectors are a little strained and all works (98% of the time anyways) but when back on the fitted Tb it doesnt work. cant think of any other reason.
