Twin Turbo 95
i just want to know what you guys think about my plans with the supra. im creating a everyday road car but something i can really take to the strip and drive the shboogie out of it and at dyno days show up and still wow the crowd. pistons - wisco rods - eagle ARP rod bolts(still searching for main billits and want to replace those billits's bolts with head studs) 1000cc injectors(750cc just feels more suited, doesn't it?) dictator engine management stage 1 boost cooler HKS super sequential dumpvale turbonetics wastegate T88 BB turbo exhaust and intakes are made by yours truly. and just a 50hp shot of NOS for those days that i just want to go a bit faster 268 intake cams 278 exhaust cams wasted spark keeping diff, clutch, propshaft and drive shaft stock. good brakes. dont know the name. when i phoned them the phone only rang... and i phoned 4 times. stupid place! the brakes are race tested and road tested. withstands 900 degrees and picks up 80% less dust. still searching for strong valves and im thinking about dubble springs for the valves... if anything sounds too big or to small. just let me know. or if you have a tip. please share! SupraShaun
I would imagin your going to need more than a stock clutch
Daston
my thoughts would be that you will hate driving that on the roads every day. You will get bored of the massive lag and end up being frustrated with the fact that you have to work damn hard to over take things on single carrage ways. Twin Turbo 95
You have lost me? about the turbo thing?? here in SA we dont call a turbo a gt42. we call it something that starts with a T. eg the passat has a T72 turbo.
Wez
If you are refering to the likes of T61 and T67 then no its no way near a T64, to flow enough air for 800-900hp its going to be a fair bit larger.

JamieP
..... i hate turbo lag!! You want 900bhp and you hate lag, the 2 go together well, have you ever been in a mid sized turbo supra? say T67/gt4088 with 600bhp? decent spool and quick enough imo. all you would need on the street. Wez
T74 maybe? Depends which model GT42 he is talking about, there are a few so maybe somewhere in the region of 70-75. This is not a street turbo http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbobygarrett/products/turbochargers.html
Twin Turbo 95
the T67 is good around 700-750... im happy with that. as long as its a damn strong car. would like 900. but 700-800 would work great... better in the streets too
Wez
..... i hate turbo lag!! Then buy a V8 as any turbo of that size is going to be crap on the road
