Pig
Im struggling, been fitting some silly lights etc for Dragonball but at the moment i have the wires hidden but going round the edge of the A pillar and inside there as i couldnt get the wire through with the engine wiring loom. Is there a special trick. Tried searching but cant work search very well.
Jake
Through the rubber clutch pedal grommit is the usual favourite.
kieren1234
Any wires that i have plumbed into the engine bay, i have gone through thewiring loom rubber at the far right of the engine bay.

Will go and look for that - will i still have that as i now have a clutch pedal? Any wires that i have plumbed into the engine bay, i have gone through thewiring loom rubber at the far right of the engine bay. Tried there and seen that TDI have used it but im dammed if i could get wire to come out the other end when i put it through.
SupraJames
Grommit behind the charcoal canister is my fave for ICE wiring, comes out in passenger footwell, above and to the left of the ECU cover.

If pushed through from the bay it should come down near the ecu in the footwell. Try and use some domestic cable (just 1 wire ie red or black) as its stiff and easier to push through and you can use this to tape your wires to and pull them through.. Where the loom comes from the bay into the bulkhead you will see the big bubber cover and you can pull that back to make it easier.

SupraJames
Try getting 4AWG cable through that hole lol !!, my advice is use a metal coat hanger, fee it through from bay to footwell (need to remove charcoal canister) then tape the wire to the end of the coat hanger and pull it through

TLicense
I go through the grommet's behind the inner wheel arches. Bit of a faff, but it keeps it all nice and tidy out the way.

Homer
There's quite a few places to get cabling through (I think all have been mentioned). There's one on the passenger side where the engine loom comes through, but this is difficult to access. There's two yellow coloured bungs on the drivers side that come through the wing. These have much more room to get cables though. Seeing as the interior and inner arches are out on mine I can take some pics if you need an idea of what to look for?
