Havard
Nipped to Tesco at the Reebok Stadium yesterday. I parked the Mondeo in a proper parking space about 100 yards from the store, there was plenty of space available too!! As I walked up to the store I noticed a black Punto in the "pick up" type layby in front of the store, there was no one in it..... A mother and daughter then walk towards the car and unlock it, I gave them a dirty look as I thought it was pig ignorant and lazy for them not to have parked in a space and walked to the store.... I then noticed something else. On the dashboard of the Punto was a roll of £10 notes....... I reckon there was about £200 at least, how stupid can you be to park a car outside a supermarket and leave cold hard cash on the dashboard...... As a upstanding member of the community I wouldn't have thought twice about smashing the window and walking off with the wonga....... They both got in the car and drove off, blissfully unaware of the their stupidity, it's no wonder people get mugged etc!! H.

neil tt
People are just fantasic, and then complain that the crime rates have gone through the ceiling:)
AJI
I think this is being looked at from the wrong angle. I think it says more about society that we can not leave cash in the car without fear of it being robbed.... rather than the onus always on the general citizen to always have to 'cater' for thieving scum by having to always lock everything away and out of sight. If crime punishment was taken seriously in this country then we could all leave our cars unlocked without fear of it being stolen along with anything inside. And then all our insurance premiums would fall
