RedM
http://www.doomsdayiscoming.com/ ...and watch the trailer to the end. Of course, it looks like 28 Day Later meets Mad Max (Beyond Thunderdome) and Rhona Mitra is billed highly so it won't be much cop, but hey!, you get to see a Bentley Continental GT crash through a bus. RedM
Just been reading some previews. Apparently it's not so much Escape from New York as Escape from Scotland.

Wez
Looks a bit running man in places too. Could be ok though, Rhona Mitra could make it worth a watch.
Gruggs
Just been reading some previews. Apparently it's not so much Escape from New York as Escape from Scotland. You're all just a bunch of big racists!! :D I'll just remind you that the romans built hadrian's wall cause they bricked it when they got to scotland....they took one look and went "god no, we aint going in there...they're a bunch of nutters!" To be fair if it wa anything like braveheart when they looked over no doubt some scot was waving their willy at them!

Chris-B
Went to see this last night what a crazy film it starts of quite serious but as the film progresses it gets more and more OTT. However I found it highly entertaining, well worth a watch even if it just for a few laughs . The guy in the gimp suit had me in stitches lol. Anyone else seen this yet? If for nothing else Rhona Mitra is well foxy

I was laughing in places when it was meant to be serious
Charlotte
I was hoping it was going to be more like 'the decent' which Neil Marshall directed too. Oh well, comedy is good too.
Matt H
Saw this on sunday night. was "o.k", the best bit was the last 30 mins with the chase scene. the Bentley could have done with being something else but the actual chase was brilliant, one of the best i;ve ever seen. ending was also good. probably give it an 7.5/10 (wouldnt have been less if it wasnt for the brilliant chase yeah!) Scott
I thought the film was dreadfull. The only thing i have truely enjoyed with Rhona Mitra in it is Tomb Raider (the game) and thats just kinda wrong. Don't waste your money/time on Doomsday. Just download lots of pics. By the way, a bit of trivia, her father is a plastic surgeon and he did her boob op
Konrad
Just seen this one, what a cack... Everyone trying hardest they can to show it's England with all those "bloody", "peeseeng outside" etc. Scenario is such simple, that you can feel your IQ dropping down to suit it. Bentley "chase" is a joke, car is moving like 1.0 Micra, everyone including pushbikes getting all over it. Waste of time... Edit: to be fair, Rhona Mitra looks nice, she is well fit

And would it have started after standing 10 years?

Konrad
I thought it was scotland that was quarantined Well it's correct , but Scots was either shouting and growling without any sense at all ( some things never change ) or speak in 14 century style (done by Sean Connery wannabe and scotish version of sheriff from Nottingham). Most was said or done by pure english breed

Mike
I watched this on Sunday and laughed my head off for most of the film... it's excellent! It sort of forgets to explain it's plot about half way through.... and goes back to the middle ages for some reason?! A case of too many ideas crammed in and (by the end) a huge case of style over content... for a little British film it's fantastic. More inventive than anything Hollywood has done lately. Just remember to severely suspend your disbelief before watching!
