hadyn
Is it worth fitting Iridium Plugs(e.g. denso ik22s or NGK equivs) to a TT with just a catback exhaust?? Not looking to decat just yet, so would a set of standard plugs be the best bet??
merckx
Should be okay with just the cat back exhaust. Just get some NGK plugs anyway, mine were just under £11 from Partco.

merckx
I got some NGK BKR7E (6097), the car is now running perfectly(£10.43 a set from Partco). I was getting a misfire on the decat until I fitted these plugs. Partco had them in stock, do a search in the Yellow pages. This is from MKIV.COM Here is a list of the most commonly used spark plugs, Stock Denso PK20R11, Comes pre-gaped at 0.043 inch (best on stock supra) Stock NGK BKR6EP-11 (2978), Comes pre-gaped at 0.043 inch (best on stock supra) NGK BKR7E (6097), Comes pre-gaped at 0.032 inch (best on BPU & APU supra) NGK BCPR7ES (3330), Comes pre-gaped at 0.032 inch (best on BPU & APU supra)
hadyn
im going to go for a set of the standard NGKs i think... are they available from halfords if you just quote the spark plug number to them?
merckx
I wouldn't bother with Halfords, Partco is a Motor Factor and they sell to everyone. Loads of branches across the country. Go to Yell.com , type in Partco where you put the name and then the location. They'll be cheap and they should have them in stock.
