AJI
Been collecting points on my shell v-power card for over a year now and on their website I selected I wanted 'money off fuel' as the reward. Now their website doesn't actually tell me how I go about claiming this reward...... anybody else know what the process is ?? Cheers.
DaveSupTT
I have a card but as of yet I have had nothing back at all. Still waiting for them to change the standard shell drivers card to the red shell ultimate card. As thats the only fuel I use. No idea?
Snooze
AJI - They should send you out a letter once every month or two with your points balance and vouchers in it. Dave - it's taken them nearly 6 months of me buying V-Power on a standard card before they moved me to the V-Power card!

Same here, had another letter with money off voucher through the post yesterday
Thorin
Yes you just select which "reward" you want then they send you through vouchers once a quarter I think? I recently had to e-mail them as they didn't transfer my several thousand points from the old reward scheme to this new Drivers Club. I should be due nearly £100 in vouchers whenever they send the next ones out.
edd_t
you get upgraded to a vpower card automaticly when you buy a certain amount of litres within 3 months of the year. its not that much, about 2 tanks full for a supra i think.

Thorin
I'm still on a Shell Optimax card, I've e-mailed them to ask if I should get a new card but not heard anything.

I had over 5000 points and when it changed from Pluspoints to Drivers club I only had 1000 points, for which I got a £5 voucher last week. The most I ever got was a £50 voucher when I was travelling all over the country each week. What also seems odd is that the few times I have bought +70litres of fuel, and queried this at the sales desk at time of purchase, never showed up on my Shell statement. Conspiracy or paranoia? Pixelfill
It used to be that to qualify for Optimax card you needed to by a certain amount of VPower in addition to a certain amount of regular unleaded. It took me a while to get upgraded as I never quite bought enough regular unleaded for the Fiesta. whilst buying loads of Optimax for the Supra. I don't know whether the qualifiying criteria have changed with the new VPower card. but I got a statement through this morning, with a £3.50 voucher for my 700 points accrued last month. Pete
I had been collecting them for a couple of years when they swapped schemes. What I didn't realise it that I had to transfer my points from the old to new scheme - I thought I'd lost them at one point!! Thankfully not. When you register on their website you can set your preference to receive vouchers for fuel sent automatically, or to accrue points as before. RedM
I got upgraded to the V-Power club on the day I got the Pug! Yesterday I also received £5.50 of my next fuel purchase. The 306 will be treated to some V-Power diesel next time it needs some fuel.

So when you transferred was it "point for point" or does 10 old points = 1 new one or summat?

Rob
Point for point. Oh s*it. Is there a time limit?
Pete
Looks like you'll be ok. I had in the back of my mind there was a time limit but it's not mentioned here - https://www.shelldriversclub.co.uk/smart/content.html?cid=faq&site=en-en Can I still redeem my existing Shell pluspoints or Shell V-Power Club points? Shell pluspoints can no longer be used to order rewards under the Shell pluspoints scheme. However, any unused points can be transferred to your new Shell Drivers’ Club or Shell V-Power Club account. How do I transfer my Shell pluspoints or old Shell V-Power Club points? Once you have registered your new Shell Drivers’ Club card, existing Shell pluspoints can be transferred to your Shell Drivers’ Club or updated Shell V-Power Club account by emailing [email protected]. If emailing, please remember to include your date of birth and postcode for security purposes.
Mike
Do you really only get a £5 Gift Voucher for 1000 points? I can't see where they say this on their website, but others in this thread seem to be saying this? That's a bit crap isn't it?
