Kirk
The time has unfortunatly, but forced, to leave my current job as I've had enough of being treated like crap and being the 2nd lowest payed employee next to the apprentice, even though I am the most over worked and busiest person on the shop floor. Now I've never had to walk out of a job ever so I have NO idea what to write on a letter of resignation! Lil help?

JustGav
Short, and sweet. Doesn't say anything nasty as you shouldn't burn bridges when you leave [Their address] [date] [your address] Dear Sir/Madam (Put their name if you know it) It is after much consideration and thought that I regretfully wish to tender my resignation effective immediately. I appreciate the opportunities that I have had here and will miss the environment. I wish the company all the best in it's future. Yours sincerely ..... colsoop
Have you talk these issues through with your boss if you don't tell them your problems then they think everything is fine.
Kirk
Have you talk these issues through with your boss if you don't tell them your problems then they think everything is fine. Ofcourse he knows, I've told him till I'm blue in the face but he seems to think he's right and I'm wrong. Workshop is ill equipped and not organized what so ever with more work than the 7 man crew can deal handle at once. A lot of employees have had enough and sorting there own plans
Havard
Hmmm I thought bout that 1. Infact in the past when he's got to me so much I've said that but oviously with more swearing and anger I once told my boss to stick his job and ended up with a 1k payrise....... We were never the same after that though!! H.

It is incredible to me that you and your company have made it this far and I will be very surprised if you are able to stay in business being such a Boss Name. I have never been so dissatisfied with such a lame company! Sincerely, Your name PS: Your custom message
marbleapple
Be friendly, but don't state in your resignation letter that they were nice etc. It might be used against you if you claim constructive dismissal.

Schtuv
I've always thought it's best to be nice, or at least totally neutral in what you say, as your next employer could well be asking your current one for a reference. If you leave nicely they'll hopefully just say "Works flat out 24/7 for peanuts, never causes trouble". If you peas them off they might be a little negative about you
