Sean1933
When mapping the Apexi Power FC via the datalogit do people adjust the actual base map or do you faf about with the fuel correction map? I currently have all the figures in the fuel correction map set to 0.00 and have been adjusting the fuel map directly. However I read somewhere on the internet (on a celica forum or something) that you should adjust the correction map and not the base map as the ECU uses this to run closed loop correction. I just cant see the point in having a fuel correction map as well as being able to edit the full fuel map. Advice from those in the know please! Wez
I would say you map the main map, correction maps on standalones are usually for nitrous and race fuel etc.
Sean1933
I would say you map the main map, correction maps on standalones are usually for nitrous and race fuel etc. This is the confusion though because you only have access to the main base map when using the datalogit or Power excel programs. If you map via the handheld unit (which would be a nightmare) then you only have access to fuel correction map and iginition map...not the base fuel map. My main question is if i leave the correction map @ 0.00 and change the figs in base fuel map, will this effect the closed loop running? What is the norm when mapping the Apexi? Where's Ryan when i need him

Ryan.G
The way i map them is upload one of my base maps and then tweak using the correction table. Doing it this way also keeps other parts of the map happy like o2 correction Ryan
Sean1933
cheers ryan, so its a good idea to use the correction then? I am pretty much starting from scratch from the stock apexi basemap so its obviously setup for the stock twins. Dont fancy selling me a base map for a GT4088 on 800cc injectors do you .
