Jake
Crap aren't they? For weeks they just ignored my requests to terminate my DSL service - wouldn't send me the code I needed to transfer to another ISP. Strangely as soon as I mentioned that I had spoken to OfTel (or whatever they're called) they were suddenly very helpful.
Vicky
they are hopeless, i have spent in excess of 5 hours on the phone to them in the space of a week, all because of their own mistake! i might try and use the word 'oftel' now though! keancy
Glad I am not alone. I emailed and rung Pipex numerous times last November. In January I finally had an email reply saying: We sorry you unhappy with your service please can you give us your Tiscaly user name so we can look into it further. I am with PIPEX you nutters. ivan
I had numerous problems with them a couple of years ago at work and wouldn't touch them again with a bargepole. They bought out the telecoms co we were with and from day 1 we had nothing but agro. It all came to a head when they cut off our phones (a call centre!) for non-payment when in fact they owed us! Luckily they weren't the only lines. Needless to say the phones were back on very quickly when they got a call from our in-house solicitor. Needless to say the phones were back on very quickly when they got a call from our in-house solicitor. this is the problem im having, the card that my direct debit came out of expired and with no prior warning they cut me off. i rang made a payment and gave them my new card details. 4 days later they still hadnt re-connected me! im reconnected now obviously but have now had a letter saying they will cut me off again if i do not set up a new direct debit, i already did that the first time i phoned i rang the number on the letter, then got transfered only for the woman to tell me i needed the department i had just spoken too, but they closed at 7. so it seems i got transfered as they couldnt be bothered to take the call so close to home time! ive now just instructed a new broadband supplier
