MichaelG
Just wondered how many people on here actually use Ebay and what you think of it ? I have been using it for about 3 years now,and its mega addictive !! I routinely go on at least twice a day, do a search for "Supra" in the Automotive section, and then onto the DVD section for some bargains ! Apparently they have over 10million UK users now !!! I think its great..........people used to say to me "Ebay what the hells ebay ??" But now you get people actually talking about it in pubs, restaurants, on TV and at work ! Lots of decent stuff on there too nowadays, especially Supra parts and accessories
mawby
If I'm buying something worth less than a tenner I look on eBay, otherwise I stay well clear as I can do without the hassle of sellers cancelling bids if they don't get and sending off money to people who suddendly disappear of the face of the earth. garetheves
I use it loads. never had a problem with it and very rarely had bids cancelled on me. Only wish i could find something to sell in large numbers and make millions...it will happen one day. Gaz
Jake
I've used eBay quite a few times, mainly for Supra stuff. I picked up a nice new genuine TRD strut brace today. Only had one bad experience which was getting sold fake stuff that had been advertised as genuine, and the seller was mkivsupra.net member too! I eventually got a refund but he stiffed me for the postage.

terribleturner
Ebay can be great for buying and selling, but isn't everybody pi$$£d off with the way it is now with fake buyers and sellers?? Doesn't stop me from going on but it's just not as fun as it used to be. I introduced my mum to it the other week and she's on the laptop for at least 3 hours each day buying crap. CJ
I am one of the addicted variety but, to be fair, have only been shafted once and that was for a measly £12.

The Hornet
I buy all sorts off ebay, but I try to make sure its not a scam before I bid. Never been scammed yet, but there is always a first time. Then again I don't buy expensive stuff so can afford to loose out the odd time. People should really try and do there checking up first then less people would get ripped off and the scammers would reduce. Just my 2p worth
Jake
OOOOOOHHHHH sounds juicy Jake ! Is the member still on here ????Yeah, now and then. Here's the original thread about it. I think it's on-topic for this thread Sadly the eBay listing no longer exists but the Title in the hyperlink is authentic.
how_supra
Funny you should say that, the postman commented on that the other day. But she keeps buying antiques and photo frames WHY?? I like the fact that she's on it when I get to your house at about 6pm and she's still on it at 10!! Some people get really hooked on it, but it's nowhere near as cheap as it used to be. A lot of the items are perceived to be cheaper in my opinion I use it mostly to sell things which is quite handy though.

terribleturner
I introduced my mum to it the other week and she's on the laptop for at least 3 hours each day buying crap. You'll like this, the other week she forgot about the decimal place and instead of bidding £7, she bid £700 . She didn't actually say anything till after it finished, and thank god for her she got it for under her intended £7.
