Pot
Can a Paypal transaction be reversed for any reason? Personally I'd only ever be happy with cold hard cash or an on-the-day bank transfer. When it comes to you IIRC you're given the option to refuse it... As above I'd only be happy with cash or see it sat in your bank account. Pot
If I Recall Correctly Yes, (Although to me it's If I Remember Correctly)... Sorry, I'm a bit of a geek so I type the 'shorthand' sometimes Whenever I've taken PayPal payments I've always had the option to refuse/reject the payment, though I've got a verified premier account, I'm not sure if it's different if you have a different account :S

ivan
That was the point of the question. If you sell something and are paid by PayPal, can the buyer later claim the money back? IE, scam the hell out of you!
Nicolai
He wont get stopped by the border, because all the europian borders are open for everyone. He should get own "temporarly" plates. And then get an insurance on that plate. Thats how it works in Holland and Belgium. If you have any questions about this give me a PM, im happy to help you. On this moment im importing a Supra myself to holland. Cheers. -edit- Forgot to mention: Always let them pay in cash (drive to a bank etc) Or only give him your car and paperwork when you received al the money on your BANK account by banktransfer. -/edit

SILKYSMOOTH
Problem is mainly with insurance at the moment, I don't really want to insure him on my policy, he says he needs the papers in order to get covered with insurance in Belgium and they will issue him temp reg plates. So he may have to come over 1st to buy the car and take the documents back with him to get insured and then come back again to drive it back. Unless he pays for it 1st and then I can send the documents to him. Or, I drive the car over to him.....or insure him as a named driver on my policy so he is covered until he gets it back to Belgium. SILKYSMOOTH
Latest Update.... Deposit has cleared already and in my account. Had an email today from the seller to confirm that he will be picking it up on a trailer on saturday. So this should solve the insurance issue. Seriously having doubts though on selling the car, I will be so sad to see it go.. and I sold it too too cheap.
