supraguye Posted March 4, 2008 Share Posted March 4, 2008 Hey Guys, Been having some boost or should I say 'lack of boost' problems with my BPU Sup. Been at an alternate location working for some time ... but now i'm finally back to check her. One of the things a mechanic friend suggested to me is to try fitting an EBC to eliminate the stock solenoids as these can cause boost problems. Been thinking, is it worth it to go out and buy a new EBC (had one fitted but it was faulty) when I may not necessarily need it? is there any way I can check the solenoids? Tricky-Ricky Posted March 4, 2008 Share Posted March 4, 2008 Yes take them off and supply 12v to the plug and blow through one side of the pipework, depending on the polarity they should pass air or not depending if they are normally closed or open.
