Clutch & Flywheel

Missile

Recommended Posts

After a new flywheel, Lightened / Balanced would be good, Looking at getting mine skimmed and machined if they are hard to come by, Or really expensive.

Also a good clutch. Something thats going to last me a while.

I don't exactly abuse my car but in two years i killed the factory standard clutch, Then bought an organic uprated thing which is now already slipping.

There were hair line crack in the face of the flywheel when this was fitted so i expect its the flywheel as much as the clutch plate.

THIS IS FOR AN IMPORT N/A MANUAL 5 SPEED L REG

You're probably best going for an RPS street max clutch if you want something stronger than stock. Kylett on here does them at excellent prices;

As for the flywheel, I’d avoid lightened ones and keep to stock unless you want your car to sound like there's a bag of nails under the bonnet at tickover!

I nearly bought one but was put off & after hearing a few cars at supra pod last year with them fitted i'm glad :) It really does sound like your car is broken! :D It's probably only worth it if it's a track/drag car or a weekend car and you can put up with the noise.
