Burna
Anyone have or know where I can get a CAD drawing of a Supra, or one that I can import into Autocad please?
hoff
Id be interested in that too. There are a few Jags and the like on the one I have here but no supras?
hoff
You could imprort a rester image with a known dimention on, scale it and trace it. Would take a while though.
Nic
There are elevation drawings here, they'll need converting to DXF or similar to open in CAD software. http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=72293 3D models here http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=72318
Ady
I have a programe to turn PDF's into AutoCad drawings. Its like a reverse of Cute PDF Writer. How come your after the CAD drawings? Ive moddled up my bomex bumper onto cad and begun to do the rest of the car but stopped as its kinda pointless. Try using http://www.cben.net or other CAD block exchange sites
Animal
I've got a plan view of a MkIV on my pc at home I can post up tonight. I also have a 3DS dwg file of a Supra that needs a little work tidying it up. I've also got a full set of elevations of a TRD2000Gt.
Animal
Ady, I'd be interested in that PDF conversion software, what's it called?

Ady
What program is that Ady. That would be very handy. We get loads of pdfs sent to us and they are useless. Ahhhhhh, thats what we used to get too. All the drawings from Architects for our multi million pound schemes used to come in in PDF. Weve now written it into our contract docs that we require them in .DWG format. Have a look at http://www.download.com - I dont think you can get it for free, but might be worth a try. Search for PDF to DWG PS - Its not that a good of programme, as the scaling is always to cock, and I end up re drawing the sodding things anyway
SupraStar 3000
The 3D model from Nics post worked well but I think (from memory) you need to remove the damaged panels to get to the Supra underneath. Heres my effort in Strata

juanchan
What about Pixelfill's avatar? I'm sure he said once that he drew that himself. Hopefully he'll see this to confirm/deny the allegations

Animal
Whilst there seems to be a gathering of cad monkeys here, I have just received a cd of all the course handouts from last year's Autodesk University if anyone is interested in a copy. It covers everything from vanilla AutoCAD, to Revit, Architecture, CAD management and programming. There are some good tutorials in there, even for advanced users. Burna
Wow! Thanks for all the helpful response my fellow CAD monkeys How come your after the CAD drawings? Before I demolish the partition in my garage for the Supra to go in I just want to make sure that she will fit. My main concern is if the canopy type opening garage door will clear the spoiler when the car is in the garage Easiest way I could think of checking it was to draw up the garage space on the CAD Heres a vectored version of that PDF, into a DWG. That's exactly what I was after Rob, I can scale that up, thank you very much
jimojameso
I have a 3d model of the fast and furious supra but needs fixing and have it in stl or 3dx format. Youd have to draw the floor plans and elevations and plop your supra in there. A section through would give you ALL the info you needed Hold on..................................................... Fits nicely into a ''Standard'' Garage. Just plopped it into a 'clients' garage
