Dry country only a couple of hotel bars in the whole place, and at about a fiver a pint it's a bit pricey too :(

 

omg i could not survive there then:( i suppose you could do sand grain counting if your that bored:D not much help am i

I'm living in Qatar at the moment :) If you head south of Doha towards the Sealine resort, you can kick back there and have fun on the dunes. Some nights they have the hill-climb events as well - heavily tuned Landcruisers tring to get up the steepest dune they can find as fast as possible.

 

Where are you staying? If you're unlucky enough to be stuck in Al Khor then yes, it is pretty bloody dreary! :D

Went there today, fun in the dunes on quads :D
