tomgeer
Can anyone give me some fitting advice for my boost controller? I have just bought it (greddy profec b II) and I'm not entirely sure where to plumb the pipes in, the instructions have a fitting guide but I'm not 100% sure if I am going to cut into the right line, I could really do with some photos so I know I am not tapping into something I shouldn't be. Can anyone possibly point me in the direction of a fitting guide with some photographs?, I have done a search but couldn't find anything on this site that helps. Chris and Alana
This should help fitting Greddy profec spec 2.pdf
tomgeer
This should help Thanks for that but that is the same as the intructions that came with it. I am hoping for a photo of the engine bay with the vacuum hose I need to tee into highlighted. I really don't get on with the illustrations because I am not familiar with what each hose in the engine bay is, if I had a photo then I would be certain. Chris and Alana
have a look at this link http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=35926 it explains a lot and has pic's of various components and where they are located. The solenoid for the boost controller basically takes the place of the wategate vsv (which you will find in the link) you will need to plug 2 points. One is the bottom of the wategate actuator and the other is where the hose from the wategate vsv goes upto the black rigid vacum lines to the left of the spark plug cover. (following the hose you cant miss it)
