CJ
Non football fans - move along Well, there were some strange results today eh? If you were a Villa fan you would have been gutted to have the Arsenal equalise in the 94th minute. Chelsea fans will have been pleased to pick themselves up after last week and record a 0-4 win away from home - and with just 10 men for 3/4 of the game. Spurs came back down to earth with a bump losing 4-1 to Birmingham and Man Utd walked all over Fulham 0-3. Probably the worst result of the day (well if you were a Newcastle fan) was them losing again. 0-1 at home to Blackburn. As for my side (Leeds Utd), we managed a win at last by beating Swindon 0-1 away from home. So, Man U fans you must be happy? Newcastle fans - how much longer before "King Kev" starts getting grief? Villa fans - How good a manager is Martin O'Neill eh? Anybody any thoughts on how your team are doing this year?
hoff
Man u fans happy? Not sure. Before the game I would have been but Arenal scoring with the last kick of the game, a bit gutted really. But your right CJ, there were some strange ones today. Shrewsbury are my 2nd team and they took a thrashing at Barnet who are well down the table. chris2o2
Top of the league , only by 4 points though - Celtic are looking good after their January signings . Rangers are gettting the results though 3-1 Win over Aberdeen today .
Jake
My team; Portsmouth are doing quite well at the moment. I'm not expecting a win away to Everton tomorrow though. Like you said, some strange results today. Spurs eh? haha. I had a monkey on ManUre at 1.4 with Betfair, so made a tidy 200 quid - which was nice. It wasn't that long ago that Scottish football was ridiculed because only 2 teams could ever win the league. Now the Premiership is much the same

hoff
It is close down there now. And Newcastle are looking like they are going to be in the thick of it. They cant buy a goal at the moment.

Havard
Spurs eh? haha. What have you got against the "Super" ? We let a lot of players rest today, no Lennon, Keane, King, Woodgate etc. Although Birmingham are becoming a bogey side for us. We also now have nothing to play for with already being in Europe next season..... I reckon Ramos will pi55 about with the side for the last ten games or so. H. SUPRASUZUKI
Bristol City go top of the championship after beating Hull 2-1. Good result today WBA forgot about the league and started dreamimg of the FA cup. They'll win neither, make the play-offs, get promoted and get their @rses kicked all through next seaon. Been there, done that. Do you think Bristol can do it?
DaveM
One very happy Royals fan here. I thought the lads had forgotten how to win since the new year. It's going to be a nervous few weeks between now and the end of the season. Crunch games against Fulham, Birmingham, Wigan and Newcastle still to come. If they go up i would love them to stay up but i think 1 season in the prem and they'll be playing championship football again. You never know though could be in the champions league season after next!

As our Hero says in the paper its not his fault! from what i've heard we actully play a lot better than we have been(compared to how we play agaist united)

Any of the sides still in the UEFA cup could give us a nasty surprise. We do tend to bottle it at the final stages in Europe.... H.
R Black
Spurs players are going to be hard to motivate now, as they know they can't realistically finish higher than 8th, are already in europe next season & so concentrate on the UEFA cup. I personally hope Ramos kicks some butt, as this is 1: Short changing the fans. 2: Could make us get used to losing which will mentally affect the UEFA 3:Probably affect next seasons form too. I thought at least a draw for today would have been ok, thats twice now they have not focussed, as we did this in the UEFA before the cup. Arsenal luckily scraped a draw against a very good Villa side keeping them in pole, the Man U steam roller, rolled on as predicted, Chelsea showed what they were made of with a comfy win, at what could have been a tricky tie, Newcastle with a new assistant of Spurs fame C Hughton onboard lost AGAIN, no suprise there for me anyway, however i feel once they manage to fluke a win, they will probably start playing well, as Keegan is nothing if not a good motivator, of a side that has a win. And Newcastle are looking like they are going to be in the thick of it. They cant buy a goal at the moment. Newcastle apparently played okay but just couldn't score again. If we can survive the relegation battle we'll be spending a lot of money in the summer to bring some decent players in.The midfield is especially bad, I'm finding it difficult to think of anyone that they should keep.
