Front end question. .

You can pick them up relativly cheaply as a lot of people remove them when they fit an aftermarket bumper or an fmic as you can't retract it due to lack of room. You can have it with an fmic fitted but in the permanantly deployed poisition like Guigsy's stunning looking Supra.

I've seen active spoilers going for around the £100 mark on the for sale forum.

well getting the bumper isnt going to be very dificult i wouldnt have thaught. The active spoiler part might be though.

Mine doesnt work though cause the intercooler gets in the way.

Its also good for speed bumps because its plastic so bends easily and its quite thin so has a lot of flex

edit - beat me to it!

Top secret follows veilside skirts perfectly - I loved this car, shame it didn't have two spinney things under the bonnet otherwise i would have still had this one. Everyone loved it, even my Mum who couldn't care less about cars!!!

i have to admit it. that car is pulling off that veilside spoiler rather well

Hmm, it did pull it off, but I did feel it was too big for the road. I didn't put it on there, was on it when I imported it. It got an AWFUL lot of attention (in a good way). Got the usual picnic table, ironing board comment soff mates - just jealous!

That said i went for a TRD on my current one, saw a couple of black supes with the Veilside, just wasn't the same :(

BEWARE OF LACK OF GROUND CLEARANCE WITH THIS BUMPER!!!!

Especailly if lowered.

I have NEVER been in a multi-storey or anything like that since owning these two past cars!!!

:yeahthat:

I think that goes for any Supra that doesn't have a front lip/bumper of any kind, I scrape my UK lip all the time

Thats the only front end I would even consider if I was changing from stock. Its practical to fit a huge front mount to, the ground clearance isn't so bad, and it has a certain OEM look to it.

Agreed, Simons Whifbitz front intimated the hell out of me when he came shooting up behind me on the way to JAE 2006  The Whifbitz or the Stillen are always in the back of my mind, then again I find it hard to beat the stock/active spoiler look
