JamesC
My dad has just gave me his Origin B2 speed camera detector and i was just wondering where to put it. My dash looks fairly cluttered anyway with it having the tv etc so i was just wondering if anyone has done anything differerent with theirs? I would like it to be fairly discreat, although IIRC it has to have the window above it which limits me. So post a pic of yours!!
Rob
Top RH side of the dash, above the little engine light pod. Discreet and in the eye-line. I had to fabricate a braket for my PDA mount there, and run cabling through the dash.
michael
I had one in 2004 and put it here: http://www.megaboost.co.uk/supra/mine/jae2004/IMG_0350.jpg Obviously it obscures part of the dial but nothing too important.

I would've thought that the satellites would not lock onto to your detector positioned as it is there.

You are welcome to your opinion The b2 I had (pictured) is the original version with the external aerial - this was positioned on the dash with the cables fed through from the back to make it tidy. The original aerial had a magnetic base which meant it sat nicely on the tweeter cover and got a great reception.
JamesC
Mine is the B2 solo which has the antenna on the cradle. My car also has a turbo timer where yours is Michael, i think i'll have a go at putting it where Rob put his.

JamesC
I need the external aerial as it looks stupid everywhere i've tried. Left it off for now
