Nick
I may kill the thread but I also would love to own a Capri!! But not any old Capri but the Capri 280 "Brooklands". I had a 1.6 on a Y plate in metallic blue. Very nice clean car, but the handling was comical in the dry, let alone the wet ! Still, always fancied a Turbo Technics 2.8i
jamesmark
but the handling was comical in the dry, let alone the wet ! What's that in the boot? A garden slab you say? Knew many Capri owners with this quite rude way of adding more weight to the rear. A bit like the old rover V8's in SD1 guise, they were really bad in the wet. Ewen
XJ Coupe??? Jag XJC. Straight six or V12 variants, one of the most beautiful cars ever made...I will have one one day, if theres any left by then. I nearly bought a Lister XJC once, but chickened out yet again. Something about these old buggers that I just love.
