Sharpie
Since moving into my new property some months back, my home office looks out over the back garden and each day I have seen two rabbits potter around the stables munching on the wild grass that I have. One is a traditional light brown/white tail type and the other is all black. The black one took a fancy to a spot just under our kitchen window and started to dig a hole, I chased it out of the garden but, it was back the next day and took the hole to around 1foot deep. Chasing it out of the garden does not put it off and even when I put a slab over the hole, it was back the next day, trying to dig under the slab. I appreciate that I moved into the country and it seems to be here first but, I don't want a rabbit warren outside my back door, not when I have small kids who, could get involved....and the thought of 10 young is not good. What are my options for removal ? I don't want shot gun or rat poison as options, or so the wife tells me! RSPCA RWAF Maybe Mr Wilson will share one of his foxes for a week or two
marc_p
Sorry but I think they are entitled to squatters rights, you could always offer them rent at a cheap rate though:d
Ark
You could try a repellent product: http://www.pesthelp.co.uk/weshop/Foxes___Rabbits.asp

Chris Wilson
Trap it, snare it, shoot it, poison it or set a good dog on it, that's about it really. If it's pure black it's an escaped pet, or a pet / wild hybrid. If you put a bit of diesel in the hole it's making it probably will go away (and dig somewhere else...). Charlotte
Do rabbits get chipped like dogs and stuff? I'd feel a bit sad if they are pets of someones. If not I think it's best to trap them or eat them?
colsoop
Perhaps some fox urine off the intertnet would do the job.

Sharpie
I'd feel a bit sad if they are pets of someones. I spoke with my neighbour and it's not his (He has dogs, horses and a livery) so they keep well away from his. Next nearest house is 0.5miles away down the lane. The Raven
Deal with it.... as you said price for non city living I have 100s of them running about in the summer way i look at it is, better to have rabbits running around than chavs. I also suffer from foxes, owls, rats and badgers. marc_p
Although it would be quite a funny thread if it was about chavs and not rabbits as it would reed somthing like:- Since moving into my new property some months back, my home office looks out over the back garden and each day I have seen two chavs potter around the stables stealing my stuff.
