jamesmark
Top speed will be when it runs out of puff, appx 180mph ish if the road is long enough. (pending if you have a TT that is) Alloys should be close to +50 as possible, and also depends on if you have the larger brakes and also depends on the design of the wheel, best to buy wheels from someone that actually knows about Supra's and not just your local halfrauds. jamesmark
a N/a can do 180mph? It does not mention if it is a TT, or N/A so anyones guess. As my post states I am basing it on a TT, you are basing it on a N/A although your post does not state TT or N/A neither.

Pig
Or.... if you have a single turbo your looking at about 200 mph IIRC

Homer
It theory the TT auto will do 212mph IIRC, the manual 198mph on stock rev limit and stock sized wheels. The reality is rather different!
juanchan
Do we have a technical thread/download that details things like stock wheel offsets/stock tyre sizes etc?

Homer
So overdrive is a longer gear than 6th on the getrag? I can't recall the top gear ratio on the auto, but the diff on the auto has a much lower final drive than the 6spd which has a lot more to do with these top speeds. Pig
Homer: What rev limit do you need to reach a true 200MPH on stock wheels?

Steve
Was the 198mph quote in your sig done on a dyno or private road, Darryl Private Road i beleive
Homer
Private Road i beleive Indeed The limit on my car I beleive was 6850rpm, so you'd need over 6920rpm limit to reach 200mph on a manual with around 550bhp. That and a VERY long track with cold weather and a nice down hill bit towards the end Edit - I don't think mine would have made 200mph even with a raised rev limit, it had no more to give when it hit the limiter.
