I'm confused. You saying co*cks is ok but for everyone else it's a warning? Or............

Surely your post should read:

:p

No, that would have just been plain wierd ;)

Anyway, I posted co*ks, not the full version with an asterisk in the middle just braking it up :p

I still think it would be great if we could have some pansy fairy words which automagically replace blacklisted words. I understand the forum software doesn't have that facility out of the box, but it'd be nice and fun to look into an addon to do it.

To my knowlege I have never just the 'T'

word and I would expect fellow members to

adhere to the same rules.

Too many people swear when its not necessary.

I agree Ed. I even question why people find the need to use *'s instead of letters rather than just not swear at all. My dad used to say that having to swear just showed a lack of intelligence in not being able to express yourself properly.

Now, before anyone accuses me of hypocrisy, yes I admit I do swear myself but rarely on the forum.

Naughty naughty W word :D

When I first came out here on holiday, I befriended several Greeks and they told me that in order to call a waiter in a restaurant I should hold my hand up and beckon him with "malaka". :(

Mind you, I then saw another Albanian friend of mine getting set up as he was learning English. He asked a mate (Greek but with excellent English) how to say "very windy" to the English tourists. He was told to look up, wave his hands around and say "big w*nker"!

The looks on the tourists faces was priceless. :D
