noun

1. a man who is a stupid incompetent fool

2. obscene terms for female genitals

Aye, possibly. Its the standard PM that everyone gets with a bit tagged on anout not getting points this time. Problem is that we have to have some consistency so we all tend to use the same generic PM (otherwise we'd be typing out individual ones..... which takes up a lot of time when there's other stuff to do) :D

well i dont know of anyone apart from me having infractions:d

That would make me guess quite a few people

Can I just ask is this across the board now, because there was a thread the other day where the same word was used and nothing was done about it?

It is across the board on public viewable areas, and across most of members areas where work filters may block the site due to the words. NWS is still safe for those potty mouths amongst you, however any insulting words directed towards another mamner will be taken seriously.

Soon we hope to have a member's profanity filter where you can actually choose to see the naughty words.... or not if you so wish.

Non members will see the corrected versions that the filter will replace them with.

For example:

Following this thread http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=134687 we are issuing you with a warning that any future use of inappropriate language mentioned on the public areas of the forum may result in infraction points being issued

As a result of inappropriate language this site is being blacklisted more and more for inappropriate content.

Please try and consider this when posting in public areas in future. This is your one and only warning, the next occurance will receive points.

Your post has been edited.

Thank you.

Thanks for that G. Anything to help prevent toys out of pram behaviour ;)

link please, thats the thing if this was a major thing than some member would not of known like me, and i know i didnt receive points but receiving an infraction does not look good on my user cp, like i said a pm about that swearing thread would of been a better warning that way everyone would of known

Jazz, I search for the naughty words daily and have even gone back as far as 2006 checking them.

Obviously some days I can't do it, so one or two may slip throught the net.

Please don't feel you're being victimised.

I victimise many members on a regular basis :D
