RedM
Caterham RS: The RS is powered by a 2.4-litre aluminium V8 that develops 380bhp in naturally aspirated form. But who cares about naturally aspirated when you can have supercharged? 500bhp+ supercharged, with peak power arriving at a mind-bending 10,000rpm. http://www.topgear.com/content/news/stories/2648/

Pete
Oooh I like that! Nice to see them doing something different on the design side. Some nice design extras to help it through the SVA as well. As an aside it looks like you can download their build manual now : http://www.caterham.co.uk/assets/html/news/current_news_story.html?ID=

RedM
Pete, Would you drive something like that on public roads? I reckon it'd scare me witless. Too fast, too small and too vulnerable. I take it yours are made of steel!

Gaz6002
I love to have a go at one of those. Not on the road though - imagine hitting a rabbit or a fox in it! You'd need wipers on your helmet.
Burna
Pete was trying to get S7EVE to supercharge his new TVR Sunday The poor lad is scared to death of it now let alone with more power. Yes Pete has big balls
marc_p
To be honest that is to powerful for the car, the C7 I share with my dad is 210bhp and is a hand full, even on slicks it is hard to get traction when the foot gets planted and also it will be too nose heavy and be spinning out all the time. Kranz
My Westy SEight is much better value. Only cost £8K to build and has the V8 rumble, although only 200hp

I take it yours are made of steel! No, just my brain is as tiny as a pea. I'd drive it on the road, why not? Mind you - I'd have it bright yellow so you can be seen - that was my main consideration on the Tiger! Pete was trying to get S7EVE to supercharge his new TVR Sunday The poor lad is scared to death of it now let alone with more power. Yes Pete has big balls I'll convince him before the years out...if he lasts that long. If I had some spare cash that is the type of thing I would buy and bring out here. Are you mad? Daston
my old man used to run a wide track westfield (that we built) it was running a cossy engine and putting out around 220bhp (we think) and that was stupidly fast just couldnt get enough grip down
