AMG
Just thought i would say Hi, as i have not been on the forum for quite a while. It was giving me too many ideas, and costing me money Anyway, i am off work at the minute due to breaking my wrist. I broke my radius in 5 places aswell as one of the bones connected to my thumb. Had to have two plates and four screws put in it. The Op was three weeks ago and i still have very limited movement in my fingers and virtually no movement in my wrist. I am getting increasingly more depressed as i am not used to doing nothing. Anyway, i will check out the forum again and maybe find something to take my mind off things. Jake
Owwww! That sounds nasty mate. Not exactly the neatest stitching in the world they've done there either, is it! When I was 17 I crashed my first motorbike and broke both my arms. That was a looong 6 weeks in plaster. You certainly find out who your friends are when you can't wipe your own arse. He was pretty helpless for a couple of weeks too. 6 weeks would be unbearable.

I remember having two similar scars on my left knee. As soon as the doctors gave me the go ahead I was back on a football pitch. 10 mins in I got thumped with the ball right on my scars.......the pain made my eyes water!! Take your time when you get back. Once you feel fine, leave it a couple of weeks..!! H.
