Pete
Two more words for you, insurance raping! I've never understood that one. I mean, it's something to make the occupants safer. I guess they think if you're prepping a car to that standard then they assume you're going for a thrash.

bolarbag
How many slow careful drivers fit roll cages? Thats the most ridiculous question I've heard, yes because everyone that has a rollcage in their car is automatically a fast careless driver, My insurance jumped up300quid, I've been raped off insurance companies for years so I didnt see the difference, an extra 30quid a month to save my ass is worth it imho But then again, lets hope I never need the thing! That is how insurance companies see it, adding a roll cage apparently increases your feelings of safety and in turn your likelihood to take a chance, we all know that isn't the case but that is how the insurance sees it

Jake
Thats the most ridiculous question It's not ridiculous at all. Just because you don't agree doesn't make it a daft question. Clearly Colsoop understood the point . . . That is how insurance companies see it, adding a roll cage apparently increases your feelings of safety and in turn your likelihood to take a chance, we all know that isn't the case but that is how the insurance sees it
