Bobbeh
A decent sat nav will help you out knowing where they usually hide etc, then theres your right foot Can you even block / detect the new generation of lasers used in camera vans? hiten55
i use a road angel plus. hasnt let me down yet mind you, as i only use it to warn me about accident black spots, nearby schools etc, the camera and laser detector is merely on as its there. i never drive faster than the speed limit and so dont really need it there

RiceRocket
Can you even block / detect the new generation of lasers used in camera vans? If you've got a remote operated garage door for example, yes but I'm sure you'll still be in trouble if you block lasers anyway.
Bobbeh
I thought they were radar operated? Hence the reasons the laser systems were introduced?
Schtuv
When I'm in the car, I use my 'Personal Executive Speed Trap Detector Deluxe' ... ... basically I look for a clean diesel BMW or Mercedes that's pelting along and pull in behind them, working under the assumption that they're a sales rep who can afford a good detector, and has 11 points on their license. So far, so good ... and the update subscription is free - lol EDIT: Please note that this post is only for comedy purposes, and I always travel at or below the speed limit depending on prevailing weather and traffic conditions, and always keep mindful that it's a recommended maximum and not a target

MrRalphMan
You could do worse then this, but don't think it's too Mac friendly though.
Scott
I have a road angel plus and a tom tom 710. The tom tom misses the odd blackspot camera van locations but the road angel gets every one of them. Scott =op
