cossack
was glued to ebay the other night and came across a new push button start from a s2000 and all the associated relays, wires and instructions etc (to wire to any car), when searching further i came across a few alloy ones with blue neon back light (these had no relays or instructions etc) like the idea but would like the alloy buttoned one, has anyone ever fitted one? or is the whole idea bit chav!!! just thought it would be a nice touch in the cig lighter socket (as i dont need mine anymore!! still off them )
ivan
Are you still going to have to use the key in the ignition? If so, I don't see the point unless you just want the ability to say "Look at my start button."
damientt
I've got a Honda Civic with a start button as standard. Yes, it looks nice, but I really can't see the point. I have to turn the key and then push the button ... so it takes longer to start than just having a key to turn.

I didnt think chavs could see supras- as in they can only see vaxhuall chavelliers, Novs, escorts (cos it sounds like the girl at the back of the mag rite lol), citroen AX and Renault 5. alos the occasional citroen saxo. when a supra does fall victim to a chav- one on the otherside of the world will die! bmx1lew
why dont you cut out your ignition and re wire it into the midle glove box where your hand brake is so you have your keys hidden away ( kinda like a sarb), smooth off where the ignition used to be and place a push start button in the cig socket. Could that be done? if so i want it done

MrRalphMan
It'll be good, but only if you can get a true keyless entry/start system implemented.
