SupraJames
Xenon Lights do have to be fitted by pros, however HID conversion kits do not. I have fitted 20+ kits and never had any probs. Only thing I tell people when they enquire about them is the car must be fitted with "Projector Lenses" or it will be an MOT failure. Non Projector lenses scatter the beam pattern all over the place. Luckily all Supra come with projecot lenses as do much new-ish cars. Also have never heard anything about headlight washing devices being needed, again this is prob full factory standard or dealer optional Xenon lights not HID conversions. AndrewOW
Many thanks go to Garfy for his help yesterday installing my new HIDs for me in the awful rain. I just did the sidelights Well here's a photo of the original halogen's: And here's the 4300K HIDs: The result is amazing and very white! Driving home from Brighton last night in the rain and fog was so much easier, as I could see better than even putting the fog lights on. Main beam looks a little weedy now! I think I'll be upgrading the fog and main lights a some point soon then. Highly recommended.
Guest Garfy
Looks great mate, glad they work well, I might have to get me a set of those bad boys, lol
Pabs
wow - looks great! Question for you all - is it purely a BULB change if you want to alter the temp. of the bulbs, or do you need to change the whole lot? I think a car I'm looking at has 8000k HID's, and I don't want to encorage the plod.....
johnny g
Is there anyone in the north west who can do a supply and fit of the 4300K kits? I'd like the main lights, sides and maybe the fogs done? I'm useless with a spanner and screwdriver lol

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that once the 'ballast' and cabling is in, you can have any temp bulbs you like. Garfy - I wholeheartedly recommend those lights. They really throw light all around, so you're in no doubt on what's out there, and what's on the road ahead. Thanks again

Pabs
i just suppose the bulbs on their own are probably quite expensive.... Will see what happens if i buy the car
Nicolai
Looking for a set also! Anyone can advise me on a cheapish kit? Nic how much are they with you?
AndrewOW
i just suppose the bulbs on their own are probably quite expensive.... Will see what happens if i buy the car See here for prices of bulbs/kits etc. http://www.visionbulbs.com Basically a pair of HID 9006 (UK) bulbs are around £54 plus postage from US. Considering they last a very long time, you should only ever need one pair for each of the temps. that you want. HTH
