Wazz72
Just in the process of fitting a front mounted intercooler to my car. Taken the front off (Veilside) and have taken some pictures of it. My old intercooler is shot I think. If you touch the vains they crumble. The problem Im having is I dont know where to mount it to. There are four brackets on it 2 on the top 2 on the bottom, what do these bolt on to? Do I have to drill the holes in the alloy block and then put bolts through it? Also It goes in front of the AC fan ect doesnt it. I have read that i have to remove a headder tank, where is it. is it the cylinder on the left with a rounded bottom? What does the bottom of the cooler bolt to? Any help is appreciated
dwayne
the 2 on top go to the slam panel the 2 on the bottom go under the car. you should already have these holes on the car, if you hold the fmic in place you should be able to tell where the brackets go. what alloy block? dont drill anything without being 100% sure. got any pics? yes, in front of the fan. header tank is the plastic bottle in front of the slam panel , most people put it next to the battery. good luck! Wazz72
Yup, I'll be changing them next. Tracking must be off for them to wear on the inside. I had one of the track rod ends replaced in July, The garage probably didnt re track the car
