charlton Posted February 25, 2008 Share Posted February 25, 2008 Would there be any come backs in court etc if you drove around sticking to the speed limit according to the GPS and then you got a speeding fine for doing 35 when you thought you were going 30 according to the GPS? It's your responsibility to ensure your vehicle gives you the correct speed. Hence the built in failsafe to all car speedos. One story, whilst slowly overhauling a police car in 50mph limit roadworks on the A1, my GPS and my Snooper were telling me I was a nadge under 50, yet as I came up on the police car on my inside lane, he flashed his rear matrix sign at me "OBEY SPEED LIMIT" I slowed to match his speed since I didn't fancy the argument.
