supradriver
Take this into consideration as a front wheel drive car accelerates all the weight of the car goes on the back wheels so not much traction on the front, where as a supra its rear wheel drive so the weight is on the back wheels so more traction. Ian W
Yes, it is I...I have one All imo, the integra is a better car than the n/a Supra (let me explain before jumping on me). It looks better (this will be most controversial I think but I prefer it) VTEC sounds nicer than the turbo'less n/a Integra better power to weight than the Supra. Evenly matched on the straights (until higher speeds), the Integra has the edge in the twisties. People's experiences may vary as it all depends on the DRIVER. The Integra is more cost effective. Cheaper parts and much better fuel economy (I had nearly 40mpg out of mine on a long run) Downsides: The Integra isn't as comfortable. It has less sound proofing and the ride is a lot harsher. In short, it totally depends on your driving style and use for the car. For track work, A and B roads, short journeys etc I would go for the Integra every time. For longer journeys, comfort, if you can afford the bigger fuel/repair bills then the Supra wins. You pays your money, you takes your choice. I don't regret mine. my video is on youtube look for soop Link?
imi
my gf might be havin a honda integra 1996 type R dc2 its got 200bhp and the guy selling said its fast. 2 questions for you guys num 1. whats the dc2 stand for num 2. will the honda beat my supra n/a with 214bhp please help cause if it can im not gonna be happy I have owned Honda's prior to my Supra and we have an integra in the family that is now for sale (V REg 2000, DC2 in White) DC2's are fantastic little machines. They produce (from the factory) a shy off 190bhp from a 1.8ltr VTEC engine, not 200bhp or more. You need to tune the NA engine a lot to get it up to say 210-220.....it is not that straight forward. The whole point of the DC2 is handling...and that is what this car is great at. http://www.kteller.com/images/featuredcars/white_integra2.jpg
AndyT
DC5 is the 1st pic DC2 the next couple. There are a couple of style differences on the Dc2's I think. They seem to have different front ends. Some have the single light clusters some have the 4 lights. Either way as Hiten and others say they were built as a straight race car for the street and Honda developed them no expense spared. They would be very difficult to beat on a track with few long straights.

The UK and Euro cars have the round headlights (a la Celica) and the Jspec cars have the rectangular headlights. The exception to this rule is the Jspec Si's and Sir's which have the round headlights PS My car is a 98spec which has bigger brakes and the pre-facelifted JDM cars (as the UK specs do) and an improved manifold / exhaust. My car also has A/C and ABS but they are all delete options I believe (as my air bags and rear wiper were). Finally, if anyone's further interested....check out http://www.itr-dc2.com

Thought that may be the case but couldn't substantiate it. Prefer the round headlight type.
