tooquicktostop
How much difference will a supercharger make? Almost doubles the power (adds upto 175 BHP), you can buy bigger kits as well !

Its a real shame, Lovely looking cars. TBH I have never driven a Z28 but I have always wanted a big US V8 since I took my Skyline to Mersea Madness a couple of years ago when the Skyline owners shared a show ground with the American Hotrod owners club, they just sound so good, may regret it but you only live once !! tooquicktostop
Well picked her up today and its a very interesting drive !! 70mph at less than 2000 RPM, much slower than I thought it would be though even with the racing shift, needs a new exhaust manifold gasket which could be costing a few BHP and a good service but on the whole should be a lot of fun over the summer Will be going in next week for full stainless exhaust, new headers and a full service including a look at what Chevy call brakes ! http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/3/6012530581.jpg http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/3/6012530565.jpg http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/3/6012530569.jpg http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/3/601253059.jpg http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/3/6012530560.jpg http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/3/6012530424.jpg http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/3/6012530459.jpg http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/3/6012530481.jpg

Gazboy
B- that's 1983-4 isn't it? Didn't these cars have massively restricted engines to meet Californian smog laws, hence having 5 litre engines barely making 120bhp? Must be worth investigating as you may be able to free up a few hundered horsepower by unstrangling it.

Yes they had restriction to ensure they met with strict CO2 rules, this car has had the 'environment pack' removed
