Havard
You lot sound surprised!! Most of the coppers I worked with were like kids in a sweet shop if they got a new piece of kit, they can't wait to use them. Especially batons and CS gas.... H. I bet hes so gutted about his suspension!! Im affraid id have a virtually zero tolerance policy when it comes to the police and blatently doing stuff wrong (i.e assault!). They are supposed to know / be trainned to know better, out the door you go my son.

Can't have a criminal int he Police force now can we. Suspension on full pay is a very common occurance in most walks of life if you get in trouble these days. Can't just sack you until you are found guilty.

Lol Ive just finished my second year as a special. Its good to know you've given something back to the community and all that! Just got in the regulars at Hampshire and cant wait! I'll agree with you that new toys impress police, think what will happen if we're issued tasers
Havard
Lol Ive just finished my second year as a special. Its good to know you've given something back to the community and all that! Just got in the regulars at Hampshire and cant wait! I'll agree with you that new toys impress police, think what will happen if we're issued tasers I was very lucky in two ways. I was always paid more in my job than the Police would have paid me, so taking a drop in pay wasn't an option. I was also lucky enough to get in with a few good coppers who treated me different to a lot of specials. I was always keen and did the nightshift etc. I was also best mates with the head of the specials in Wigan so he always got us in on some of the good jobs. A lot of specials were treated like mobile traffic cones and only ever did the sh!tty jobs like the football or walking days, we were involved in drug raids and tracking car thieves. I once deliberately shaved my head almost bald to look like a real scrote, we were after a notorious car thief who was taking cars off the same car park almost every day and trashing them. I went out in the town centre dressed in a scruffy shirt, ripped jeans with all my radio and kit strapped up my back. We got the thief by other means but I was approached by a guy with a big holdall who said "You look like a guy who'd want one of these?" He opened the bag and there were a sh!t load of 8" hunting knives in the bag.... I just said "Mate, it really isn't your day is it?"...... H.
