Jake
Day off. Thought I'd have another look at my "no power to heater controls" problem. Looking at the speedo converter I'm not sure I've reconnected it back together correctly. On the speedo converter it says CK-DU-99 Red: 12v Green: Earth Yellow: KMH Signal Input Blue: Speedo Grey: ECU The Blue, Red and Green wires are all connected to the back of the speedo. (I know that part is correct because I haven't messed with that) The other two wires from the converter (1x yellow, 1x grey) both have a male bullet connector. There's also a wire spurred off the blue 'speedo' wire which seems to have been connected to the blue/red stripe wire which goes to the stock electrical socket into the back of the speedo. So, I've got two spare wires from the Speedo Converter ; a Yellow ('KMH Signal Input') and Grey ('ECU') Which one connects to the loom side of the Blue/Red wire? And which one connects to the loom side of the Pink/Grey wire. (The speedo end of the Pink/Grey wire has just been capped off, that's correct, is it? Thanks
SteveR
the "ECU" wire should go to... ooh no hang on, you've got a VVTi.
Jake
Looking at this : http://homepage.ntlworld.com/peter.betts/supra/TechTips/dsc_speedo_mph.jpg I reckon the Blue/Red wire from the loom goes to the Yellow: KMH Signal Input so the other one (Pink/Grey wire) must be the one that connects to (Grey: ECU)
SteveR
Doh, I just spent ages finding that and get back to the thread feeling all smug to see you've found it. That sounds right to me, I just wanted to check there weren't any VVTi gotchyas
