Thinking of swapping my supra for this:

I reckon it certainly would mate.

The newer CTR doesn't seem to be all it's cracked up to be and isn't quite as sharp as the EP3 model (bread van).

I'd still go with the Honda though, purely on reliability stakes (stereotypical I know but I just don't trust Renaults)

But even the EP3 isn't a patch on the EK9 in my opinion.

165 bhp per tonne and completely outruns an Audi S3 and voted by autocar as the best hot hatch on the market at the moment. Also its turbocharged so theres room for boost increases for more power. IMHO a bit of a contender.

In fact the CTR didn't even make it into the final 5 of the test process http://www.renaultsport.co.uk/latestnews/roadcars/story.asp?ArticleID=1643

I don't get it. The chart at the bottom shows the S3 as being better in all respects than the Megane, except for price. The print is small on my high res screen but I think I'm reading it right.

The s3 is 4wd as well.. that'd sway me. The Honda is just lovely looking inside and out though, that'd sway me that way too.

Have you noticed on motoring shows a few years ago they usually put the Clio sport up against the CTR/MGZS/Astra sized cars, they didn't usually mention the Megane sport because it was so much better than all of them!!! Seemed to me that Renault had the best car in class.

I do like the new one as well, always said I wouldn't buy a french car though.
