Guest DaveWilko
What is rubbish about poly bushes? I have put them on loads of cars with no problems. I was thinking of putting them on my supe so more detail would be greatly appreciated
Chris Wilson
They are rubbish in this particular instance because the stock rear top wishbones have spherical bearings in them, and a "poly bush" will ad unwanted compliance, not remove it. Just buy stock top arms from Nic if you want the best price, or from the nearest Toyota dealer if you want them next week, at a price premium. By the time you, or your garage have tried to fit "poly bushes" to the rear top arms the price at retail, from Mr T will seem as cheap as chips, anyway. Daston
Am I right in thinking then that the bushes are attached to the suspension arms then? so if I were to purchase new upper and lower arms I wouldnt have to do anything about bushes? Sorry for being thick......just got up
Nic
Yes they are part of the arms Front http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/3549/frontsuspensionepcye0.png Rear http://img403.imageshack.us/img403/7640/rearsuspensionepccu6.jpg
