Another Supra crash - 'mine' - but not me...

..but the Swedish guy who boughts my Surpa from me a month ago.

He spun out putting the power down coming out of a high speed corner and ended up mounting the pavement at 85mph-ish, pushing both right-hand wheels inwards a few cm (he guesses 5cm & 10cm).

He thinks it's just suspension damage and can get some 2nd hand parts to fix it for ~£300. Luckily there was zero bodyworrk damage, but I still felt a little sick when he told me my (ex) baby had been in an accident. :(

A photo of the damage but to be totally frank I don't know what I'm looking at. :search:

:(

He should get all the suspension components, hubs, bearings, struts, wheels, etc. thoroughly checked if he's hit a curb at that speed, I'd be suprised if there isn't more bent/broken.

Thanks Nic - I've just told him about the thread and said there my be useful advice posted up.

hairpin? I think it was a dual carraigeway (minus central reservation)

Thats what i was thinking, on the "map" you posted, it shows the corner he turns as he loses it. If he hit the kerb at 85 he must have been doing some rate of knots round it.

I think thats the reason for the hairpin comment. The map makes it look like a VERY tight corner.
