supra-lover
At long last the silver Supra that has been spotted so many times around our area has a face to match the car. I pulled into Burger King (westwood) to see the silver Jspec waiting to go in the car wash. I beeped and gave him a thumbs up he he just looked at me as if to say "sod off" then spent the 4 minutes it took them to get to his car looking at mine. He didnt even come over after to say hi. Dont think we will be seeing him in the club anytime soon. Some Supra owners have no class. The moral of the story is...............Thanet Silver Supra guy with a blonde Mohawk. Dont bother. what a parsnip.....
dangerous brain
Yeah but not just that. As the good tannhauser states more than once (for the hard of hearing) not all people even want to be associated with their car. (it wasn't red'm you came across was it lol). No really there are a hell of a lot of people around that have bought supes and have no idea about the "kinship" in this club. Try driving down the road in a mondeo waving at people in mondeo's and see what happens (other than getting locked up for insanity lol). As for Iconic??? Really chap try looking at chavtastic right now. Remember 300zx rep in the late nineties and you are 100% right there. The supra is right there with fake burberry, most of the time better quality than the real thing (porsche analogy maybe) but still a fake (with more elaborate add on parts)
supra steveo
its a shame that, i stopped to talk to a guy in Newcastle while going between pub in the big market about his supra it was all kitted up and he had just got it sat and spoke to him for about 40 mins i was near sober by the time i got back to the pub but it was well worth the chat, i love my supra`s
Guest GirlRacer!
I guess everyone's different - there's no need to have a go at someone for not wanting to chat I guess, but surely a smile or at least acknowledging isn't too much to ask! Personally it makes my day to see another Supra (yes I know that sounds pathetically sad, but it just makes me smile!) and everyone's always been very friendly to me so far! I guess some people just don't convey their enthusiasm as much as others! *Braces herself for the slating...*

I still do it though There's one woman I pass fairly frequently in a silver j-spec who probably thinks I'm stalking her as I always wave. She just ignores me completely now

marc_p
I think its nice to share a kinship with a complete stranger. A unique bond that two individuals share. Isn't that what prostitutes are for? But seriously a wave would not hurt, I remember a guy that used to have a standard white civic who used to always flash and wave at me in mine and I used to always give him a wave back just out of courtesy and a civic is hardly a rare car. The Raven
OK! First off i didnt spray anything! my boonet was already black when i fitted and butchered the red one! (some lard ass sat on it and dented it bad) I like it and wont be changing it till i can afford a Carbon one.....so sod off lol Second i didnt want the guy to come over and say anything but a simple thumbs up or maybe a nod wouldnt have hurt would it. Third He is already paying for his hate crimes as was evident by the large dent in his rear quarter. Forth i win coz i dont have that hair cut and im not 40. cheekymonkey
There's a silver Supra I see most mornings at around 5am and I always wave. I just do it now to confuse the guy - as I am invariably in the Audi at that time
