SimonB
How do I go about doing that chap? There should be a port on the regulator that will have a blanking plug in that you can screw a little manual gauge into. The one at the front on this pic of an Aeromotive FPR:- http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/Merchant/aero_afpr1.jpg

dangerous brain
Looks like I have no choice but to fit a fuel pressure gauge. If its stockish pressure then odds on they are the 800cc sard units. If the pressure is uber high then maybe the VVTi 430's? My FPR is no where near as big and Gucci as that one either. Ian C
Wait wait discount all that (all that being my many many edits so far) I've looked again... The VVTI stocker is the pink on the left in both pics, the PE650 is on the right so that means you haven't got stockers as the tip is a different design, it looks more like a PE one? I've confused myself now -Ian PS although I will re-add the fact I used Macro mode on the camera and got clear pictures nyer
dangerous brain
That looks about the same. Why in everything thats sacred would they take out the existing injectors and stick the same bloody sized injectors back in??? That means for sure that my fuel pressure is sky rocket high as well. But hang on a mo in the second picture is the left one the 440? If it is then thats not mine as the holes are more like the right one but oval in shape. Ian C
I've edited my post about 400 times, please re-read I made the same mistake in thinking you had stockers.
dangerous brain
Ah so perhaps they are in fact the 800cc sard units that look the same as those ones? With holes as big as they are it must be larger than 440cc injectors maybe even 800's? I haven't seen any pictures of injectors that suit that style ie look the same as the stock one other than them sard ones. Can the stock ones be rebuilt with bigger apertures? JustGav
Not an option I would do, but it is possible they are englarged units.... Ie the cores have been replaced. I've got a set that look VERY similar and lke others have said, they came out of the vvti engine. Flow check is the only sure way really... dangerous brain
So who has a fuel pressure gauge I can fit?
dangerous brain
OK another revisit. Having now seen a set of VVTi injectors I can conform that these ones in my car are indeed the top half of a VVTi injector. Thats where the similarity ends though as the fuel holes are way bigger in mine than in the stock VVTi ones. Can they be re-manufactured bigger?
