SupraJames
I think the front discs on my UK spec need changing, and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for upgraded discs, but still the standard size. I am already running TRD pads, braided lines and 5.1 fluid. Have seen TRD discs, are they any good ?, and will I have to put new pads in as well if I change the discs..??? Thanks all

Chris Wilson
The stock discs are best. Cast iron is cast iron, until you start buying taiwanese junk. Grooved discs are no longer needed with modern pad materials, they just chew up the pads and make noise. unless you are buying high end race type AP, Brembo or Alcon "drilled" discs you shouldn't even THINK about discs with holes in them. A standard casting with some CNC machine `oles in them are just a crack waiting to develop. Stay stock, spend your money on pads. Decent pads, REALLY decent pads, are a LOT of dough, but worth it. Same goes for fluid.
Bobbeh
Totally agree with Chris here, stick with the UK setup unless you're going 6 pot. Its already one of the best braking cars on the road with the standard UK brakes.. why mess with it.
SupraJames
Ok will stay with the stock UK discs, which is handy as I have a mate that can get discounted Toyota parts, I have TRD pads already and am not overly impressed with them. What pads would people recommend, have seen some nice Endless ones around..?? thanks
Gazboy
I've got EBC redstuff which I'm just bedding in, so far, so good, bit noisy when they are cold though (squeal a bit). I tried Greenstuff on my MR2T, and thought they were crap, so was a bit worried about Red stuff, but they've suprised me so far.... initial bite isn't bad, they certainly do the job, but I haven't 'pushed' them if you know what i mean- I have a track day at Brunters in March, so i'll find out then.
