imi-7
I'm looking to buy this today but has anyone else played this on the Wii - is it good? What other good games would you recommend for the Wii ? Cheers
Thorin
A mate at work has just got Medal of Honour, which is supposedly brilliant on the Wii. I'm currently playing Zelda which is fantastic, and I think I may buy Mario Galaxy next.
imi-7
I have heard Tiger Woods Golf is supposed to be excellent ??
SteamAhead
Think you might agree that it's a shame they don't do the downloading of demo's like 360 & PS3 on the Wii, as there are a few games I'd like to try first before purchasing, Fifa being one of them. Thorin
I have heard Tiger Woods Golf is supposed to be excellent ?? I've heard it's ok, but compared to the nice easy control system of Wii sports golf it's fiddly and annoying. I'm waiting for "We Play Golf", which sound like it will be more my cup of tea. http://www.capcom.co.jp/golf/
imi-7
I agree Jim, it would be great to download the demo's first.....
Thorin
Trouble is the Wii doesn't have much in the way of internal storage to download demo games, it's fine for the old virtual console games stuff but not Wii demos. I am surprised to not see Wii games magazines offering demo discs on the front though... unless I'm wrong? I've just never seen any.

Yep, that is the problem with the Wii (lack of storage) Could shove in a couple of gig SD card. But I guess not everyone can do that. As you say, very strange that there are no mags out there with discs on the front. I was forever buying Amiga / Playstation / PC mags etc.. for the discs at the front. imi-7
So is it the case of simply plug n play with the new cable, and the game quality will be automatically turn to HD ?
Thorin
You'll need to change the settings from the main Wii menu screen to use 480p I believe. Unfortunately my TV doesn't have component input

Unfortunately my TV doesn't have component input Yep, connect with the cable and set it to 480P in the menu. I think some of the GC games look poop on it, but as long as the game is designed for it, which most are, then it'll look ok. ....fair enough Here's a link to a cable for best picture: http://www.amazon.co.uk/PEGA-PG-WiC01-Nintendo-Component-Cable/dp/B000P0X2RS I'm sure there are others cables out there with little more research... I don't have HD myself, but I think the picture is just fine though normal scart on me old rear projector God i need some money for that 52" LCD Ha ha!!
