I've had the chance to actually have a few words with the following:

Motorsport people

David Coulthard, Andy Priaux --- Motorsport Show NEC

Takuma Sato --- in his F3 days at Croft

Danica Patrick --- before she made it big time - had a quick chat with her racing at Croft

Sebastian Loeb & Petter Solberg --- at WRC Germany park ferme

Malcolm Wilson (Ford WRC boss) --- at his own rally event numerous times.

TV people

Isla Fisher --- Outside of Blackpool tower doing some promo work.

Heather Small --- actually did bump into her in the high street of Hull.

Lucy Pinder --- got a kiss off her a the NEC.

Seen but not talked to : Beckham and Posh in the Lake district....... also Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman near to their holiday home in the lake district.

Thats about it for me :)

I never recognise people until its all too late and someone else has to tell me who they are.....I've had a few embarrassing moments, one being when i told the bloke from "Faithless" the band at a work event up town that he was quite good on the deck's and has he been on TV because he looked familiar?

He of course was kind and said yea sort of but then seemed to want to chat for ages, now i know it was because i was really impressed with his talent and not for who he was...he lives in the Isle of white.

Same with me when I came face to face with Shane McGowan at my record shop. As he is one of the ugliest people in the world, I didn't want to say HI SHANE, because if it wasn't him then it would have been a most almighty faux pas.

On the other hand, I felt pretty daft after he left because with him being so distinctive, how could I have doubted who he was?

Ooo that reminds me I was stood next to Simon from Blue in the Trafford Centre. He was singing at the side of me in Selfridges and I looked at him and smiled in a kind of "aww you can get locked up for that nowadays, but you've got a good voice". When I looked up again he had moved and was stood next to Lee and they where being mobbed by girls with mobiles taking photo's.

Ooops

I once met the legend that is Steve Bull.

Means nothing to anyone other than a Wolves fan but he's God around these parts. My old man plays golf with him and was having a beer afterwards down our local. I went down and Bully bought me a beer! Top bloke - played for England in the World Cup whilst still playing 3rd Division Football you know! ;)

I also stood next to Will Mellor in the buffet restaurant at Caesars Palace after Ricky Hatton just weighed in. I said 'alright Jambo' - he just looked at me bemused. I felt a right tit! :D

Some great lists there.

I've met Chris Eubank at the London Motorshow when I was around 15 or 16. I also said hello and shook the hand of Brian Cox in Tokyo about 2/3 years ago.

I've met loads of famous Japanese racing drivers though!

Gaz.

i see him all the time at work! in fact last week we had to get him to move his truck from the front of the hotel!
