Wez
Make sure you are not sending the wrong res and refresh rate to the screen.
Mike M
Make sure you are not sending the wrong res and refresh rate to the screen. Yeah that, alot of new panels dont seem to support a wide range of resolutions unlike the first monitor style panels. Have a play with your graphics card resolution maybe too high. Willson
The user manual should tell you what resolutions and refresh rates you can use.
Mike M
The user manual should tell you what resolutions and refresh rates you can use. Yeah, We have a 50" panasonic full high res plasma at work and it wont display one of the computer resolutions. The book will say what range of resolutions the tv will handle in PC mode. If your res isn't supported by PC mode then a PC to HDMI cable should work ok. As long as you have DVI you can convert to HDMI, VGA will only work with the PC port. Bobbeh
PC widescreen aspect ratios typically are 16:10, where as TVs are 16:9, make sure you're using one that the TV can use Steve, and I'd agree with Wez also about the refresh rate. SUPRASUZUKI
We've got a 42" Samsung plasma, I just connected the laptop up to it and selected pc on the input on the tv settings. Job done. If I can do it, it must be idiot proof:D
