SupraTT2004
this might sound a dumb question but is there any disadvantages of getting VVTi model supra rather than the earlier types. like you cant have some mods on the VVTi but you can on the earlier models etc. Thanks
Tom
I think there are some complications if your going for big power, well there used to be anyway!
Guest Terry S
The VVTi absolutely rocks. IMHO it is awesome. The management system is more tricky but I have that sussed now too.
Alex
VVTi's use different equipment sometimes...but they are no more difficult or expensive to tune.

Guest Terry S
Dont know what your budget is like, but Chris ( TRD3000GT above) is selling a very nice 6 speed I believe. The 6 Speed VVTi is the most sort after Supra, so the chances are they will hold there money well.

Guest Terry S
Dependant on Mileage between 18-20k IMO. They seem the most sort after cars in Japan, and it reflects here.
SupraTT2004
say 35K miles. only because i have seen one that i might be interested in but its about 13K, which I thought was a bit cheap for that year etc. but going to take a look anyways. Guest Terry S
That sounds excellent, assuming it's a manual. They may not know what they have.
SupraTT2004
well thats what he said anways. its completely standard, think the alloys are different but is a 1999 red manual, and he said it has been well look after and its immaculate. he also said he just wants to get rid of it off his drive as he just brought a brand new Porsche 911. so we will see at the weekend. its worth a look. TRD3000GT
If you can find one, Which I strongly doubt You will be looking at 20K. They cant be bought in anymore and Mine for 20K with the low miles and all the modifications is a good price. Hell the paint job is 6 months old and nearly 4 K so 1/4 the price of the car!. If anyone is interested come and have a look at her. Brand new rims and tyres as well so she really is PRISTEEN.
