Guest GTone
Time to fire up the quatro So I am selling my beautiful 1994 Supra SZ auto. Mileage: 84k (miles) Colour: Rare as rocking 'orse dodar Anthracite Condition: Overall this car is perfect both body & mechanically. Trans: 4 speed auto Wheels: 18" Interior: Cloth Mot: 1 year Tax: until end of feb It's truely a beautiful car in top condition. It's a JDM model with full Jap service history. Here's what I have done since ownership started: New rear discs, calipers & pads New front discs & pads Converted to MPH (replacement facia) New drivers side window mech Oil, filters, plugs. Changed brake fluid 2 x new Kumo 18" rear tyres (fronts were fine) It's such a pleasure to drive this car. Engines quiet and smooth as a babys butt. Nothing major needs doing. The only faults are: 1. Needs new areial mast. Just the insert but as I don't listen to the radio I've not bothered. 2. Tailgate struts are a bit weak. To save chopping your head off I will include a emergency triangle which props it open perfectly. I am a good mechanic of 25 years and can honestly say this is one of the cleanest & genuinely pampered Supra's you will find. It was obviously the previous jap owners pride and joy. The only reason I am getting shot of it is the fuel bills. As a motorway cruiser the car is perfect but as a run about its just too juicy. Worth considering if you are new to Supra's. Here are some pics I took when I just brought the car. http://www.harbourlight.uk.com/tga/images/supra/93_supra_002.jpg http://www.harbourlight.uk.com/tga/images/supra/93_supra_003.jpg http://www.harbourlight.uk.com/tga/images/supra/93_supra_004.jpg http://www.harbourlight.uk.com/tga/images/supra/93_supra_005.jpg http://www.harbourlight.uk.com/tga/images/supra/93_supra_006.jpg http://www.harbourlight.uk.com/tga/images/supra/93_supra_001.jpg I am asking £4500 ovno Either ring me on 07732 413001 or email namdoog.ynot AT gmail.com (replace the AT with @ and delete the spaces before and after the AT). Guest GTone
Its definitely anthracite otherwise known as Monkey Shit Brown on the forums. Personally I think its a very classy colour. Get asked a lot by kids if its a Aston! Not the rarest colour but 3rd rarest I seem to remember. Cheers, Tone

SteveR
Its definitely anthracite otherwise known as Monkey Shit Brown on the forums. I'm sure it's known as "Monkey Shit Brown" because it's the same initials as Metallic Silver Bronze; the name Toyota gave to the colour. Hmm, it looks like the American's called it "Anthracite metallic" - see here
Guest GTone
That makes sense Steve. When I first got the car I was told it was msb by a few people on the forums. The paint code is listed as Anthracite. So I am 100% sure that's the official colour. Also when I ordered a bit of paint last year so I could paint one of my motorbikes the same colour it came up as Toyota Anthracite. I know it must be a rare colour because they only list 1 shade of it. Most colours have 2 or more shades. Fords were classic for this. Diamond white had about 20 shades last time I checked & Fiat/Ferrari Rossa red had even more shades. This is to account for variations over the years of production so to have only 1 shade means it wasn't used much by Mr T. Anyway boring useless knowledge crap out of the way the car is still up for grabs should anyone want to venture out coz it's f-fin freezing out there!
