Pete
This is why you should be worried about the laws the government are trying to sneak through under the pretense of Anti Terrorism. Fair enough, react quickly to a report - but why drag him in to custody when it was obviously a mistake? As for the DNA stuff don't get me started on that... Rob
Indeed, why didn't the police search him, say sorry and leave it at that? Having watched both Children of Men and V For Vendetta the other night, I get very worried by this sort of thing. Turbotomo, if you really are an infantryman you should know better about carrying pretend guns around in your car, really!
Jake
not suprising. got pulled over in the girlfriends car with a lighter in the glove box that looked like a gun. i was sent to court and got charged for inpursonating a firearm, £175 fine. How does one impersonate a firearm?

Harllequin
And they just happened to look in the glove box, for no reason, then charged you. Even though it was not your car. Is it me or do things just not add up here?

Ian C
Being an infantary soldier i get to play with an sa-80 mk2 most days Now thats a firearm I also get to play with my lil 9mm pistol that's cool also But there is nothing better then over arming that L109 HE frag hand granade. Any why. this is well off topic. You must be 20 years old if you think that spiel is going to impress anyone here Anyway the SA80 is a crock. Took two revisions before it'd work outside a sterile lab environment, the first one you could bend the barrel with your hands Did you mean a 'Mk2' or an 'SA80 A2'..? And that's not a Browning HiPo I hope Hammer bite, single action only, ghastly controls, evil magazine well if you've got big hands... Pah. Save up and get a Sig

Class One
not suprising. got pulled over in the girlfriends car with a lighter in the glove box that looked like a gun. i was sent to court and got charged for inpursonating a firearm, £175 fine. Why on earth would you want to carry around a lighter that looks like a gun? no it was just in there. im not a criminel, of chav of nothing. i wasnt driven round town centers pointing a lighter at ppl. im a farther of 2. its just a lighter i had in the car. now i look back, it was a bit stupid. but still bit harsh IMO. you guys think it was fair? i was pulled over and the car was searched an the cop went nuts when she found this thing. calling me a danger to the public lol. i till try and tell her it was a £5 lighter and they were proberly sold in ther 100's every day. but she was haven none of it and i was arrested. You are a criminal. You have a criminal record. It's very hard to differentiate between what is real and what is fake especially at a distance. You got what you deserved. Come on people. That cant be to hard to understand? i know my spelling and grammer is sh*t but cummon. If you know your spelling and grammer is poor then make more of an effort dear chap. My head is beginning to hurt trying to decipher what you are saying. Being an infantary soldier i get to play with an sa-80 mk2 most days Now thats a firearm I also get to play with my lil 9mm pistol that's cool also But there is nothing better then over arming that L109 HE frag hand granade. Any why. this is well off topic. They're just tools for a job. You appear to like them as objects of desire. Have to been deployed in a combat zone yet? Rob
You're in the army and you can't even spell "regiment" correctly? Don't you feel "Welsh Guards" deserved capitals, at the least, being your regiment? DD for you I think.
